Update for Sunnyside Dental Patients – Temporary Arrangements

Hello everyone,

We wanted to share an important update regarding Sunnyside Dental in Orsett.

The practice is currently undergoing a change of ownership and is being purchased by two of the existing associates, Dr Singh and Dr Gupta, along with Dr Patel, a local dentist who owns Elite Dental Studio in Tilbury.

As part of the transfer, we are currently awaiting CQC registration, which is a standard process when a dental practice changes ownership. This registration may take approximately 12 weeks to complete.  The application was submitted first week of December 2025

During this time:

✔️ Patients who are on Denplan, or who require routine or urgent care, are being seen by Dr Singh (or one of the clinicians) at Elite Dental Studio in Tilbury.
✔️ This arrangement is temporary and has been put in place so that patients can continue to receive care without disruption.
✔️ Once the CQC process is completed, we look forward to welcoming patients back to Sunnyside Dental in Orsett under the new ownership.

We understand that many patients were unaware of the situation, so we hope this update brings some clarity and reassurance.
